Owner and builder, John M. Dotzel has been building quality homes since 1972 wih an emphasis on establishing long-lasting relationships. In 1977, we started our first venture with a partnership, until 1985. We then branched out and formed John M. Dotzel Builder Inc.
In 2015, Chad Dotzel Incorporated with his father to become John M. Dotzel & Son Builder Inc. Chad Dotzel brings more than 15 years working along side his father, learning the trade. In 2022, Chad Dotzel purchased the company from his father John and began running daily operations and has carried on his legacy of building lasting relationships.

Began this Journey in the Construction Field
Entered into a Partnership Building Homes from 1,500 to 2,500 Sq. Ft.
Dissolved Partnership and Started John M. Dotzel Builder Inc. Started Working with Architects on Upscale Homes and Additions.
Became Involved in the York Builders Association, Served Two Years on the Board of Directors
Served as Line Officer in the York Builders Association from 1990 to 1992
Served as President of York Builders Association
Received the 1993 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on Projects over $75,000
Served as a Trustee on the York Builders Association Insurance Trust from 1996 to 2003
Received the 1998 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Specialty and Detail
Received the 1999 Grand Award Winner for Excellence in Residential Remodeling on Projects over $150,000
